A two-day conference designed for foster/adoptive parents and others who are caring for children who have experienced trauma. The goal of the conference is to encourage and help these caregivers better understand how to create safe and healing environments. This conference is typically held in the spring and can be experienced at one of the Bay Area satellite sites.
Foster Family Associations
Foster Family Associations provide resources and support for the needs of kinship, foster and adoptive homes.
This often includes mentoring, parent trainings, fun events, resources and advocacy.

Alameda County: Alameda County Foster Parent Association
Braid Mission - serving San Francisco County
Braid Mission’s intergenerational mentoring program is designed to support Bay Area youth who have experienced life in the foster care system.
Help One Child - serving Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties
Help One Child recruits, trains, and supports those willing to provide a home or volunteer services to at-risk children. Their services include Parent Trainings, Support Groups, a Youth Summer Camp, Parent’s Night Out and much more. Help One Child also serves as the Regional Manager for CarePortal, a platform designed to connect families in need with local churches.
CarePortal - will be launching in select Bay Area counties soon.

East Bay Orphan Care seeks to support and care for foster and adoptive children and those that love them.
Museums For All
Through Museums for All, a family may be able to enjoy free or reduced admission to more than 300 museums throughout the United States, simply by presenting an EBT card.
Just Kids Pediatric Dentistry is a pediatric dental office located in Fremont and San Leandro. They have been providing comprehensive dental care for the children in the East Bay for over 35 years. They are a group of pediatric dental specialists who have training treating children from all walks of life. Just Kids Pediatric Dentistry would like to open their doors to provide services free-of-charge for all the foster children within the Foster The Bay network.
